Description

This large bowl was hand thrown on my potters wheel using stone white stoneware clay. The lower half of the outside was carved with parallel lines. I finished this bowl off in a gorgeous glossy deep ping grapefruit glaze with a purple reactive glaze on the rim that melts down the sides of the bowl in the kiln to leave this striking and unique effect.

This bowl would per perfect as a serving bowl, for salads, bread rolls etc, or would look equally as stunning as a decorative piece in the home as a decorative dish.
